What People Are Saying:

For me, what was so great about attending The POM Coaching Clinic, besides the influential material covered, was the room full of parents who became inspired and hopeful as the day progressed. To hear their expressed break-through and the moments of revelation come alive, was powerful! When parents receive POM’s hands-on, practical tools they can use and apply to their circumstances, change is inevitable! That is what never ceases to inspire me to help promote the truths that POM helps instill...As a facilitator, I see courage, strength and conviction rise from parents in the face of hope and that is the primary reason I am heartened to be a part of the change, to continue to be challenged and learn, to continue to attend POM’s parenting workshops and clinics!

As an Elementary Principal, I have the opportunity of helping parents of young children...better understand their role in preparing their children to meet their competition with confidence. Thank you Richard...many of these gems of wisdom will be passed along to teachers as well as parents...you have restored my belief in self and ability to help parents and help them discover and develop the leadership in them.

Richard is an excellent presenter/trainer. He really gave me the feel of a person who "keeps it real". I felt very comfortable with him and the group he conducted...I felt the training he gave will help me on a personal and professional level. I would encourage anyone who wants to grow and help make a change to attend his training.

I just finished a phenomenal training, "Parents on a Mission" (POM) and I want to commend Richard Ramos for this awesome training! I have three children that I adopted from the Department of Children and Family - two African American teenagers and one Hispanic teenager - and I want to take Richard home with me because of the insight, knowledge and expertise he imparted to us was phenomenal. I encourage you to listen, participate and partake because this is what is needed in the twenty-first century. Thank you again Richard!

I'm just leaving a seminar, "POM". I've always prided myself on being a good parent. But after hearing Mr. Ramos speak, it let me know that I can be a better parent and also teach others to be better parents. If you can get his book, or if you can attend his seminar, I recommend you do it. I don't speak on nothing I don't believe in - it has really, really opened my eyes to let me know that my kid has feelings too and that I must first fix me before I can start fixing my kid. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this - Its awesome!

Hello Mr, Ramos, I just wanted to tell you how well the program is doing here at La Vista Correctional facility. It is taking off like wild fire. Also just wanted to ask how the offenders can write you a letter. I have a couple of girls who this program changed them in such an amazing way. Thank you for everything.

Good afternoon Mr. Ramos, I am excited to share with you that we took our first group of parents through the Parents on a Mission program over the course of the past 10 weeks, and we are so pleased with our parent’s responses to the lessons taught...You have developed a powerful program to enlighten our parents to recognize the importance of the most important role they play in their child’s life and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to bring it to our families...Sending our greatest appreciation for your work in the creation of this program!

Personally, the rollercoaster ride in parenting has been exciting yet draining because of different situations I have experienced these past years. The broken bond with my son has been emotionally and mentally draining...I have attended different programs and parenting classes but nothing like POM. The moment I attended POM, I knew that this was what I needed. Because of POM, I have taken the initiative and action to act instead of waiting for "time to heal" me and our relationship. I learned to trust myself, have the courage to take a chance and put into action the knowledge that POM provided. It has been a slow progress but I see the changes and transformation beginning to take place...I have learned to become stronger mentally, emotionally and spiritually...Thank you for this gem, POM.
